WHAT IS A SEWER SCOPE?
A Sewer scope is a flexible rod with a high-resolution video camera on its tip. The flexible rod allows the camera to travel through the pipe to see the pipe in its entirety. The inspector can then determine the condition of the inside of the pipe and understand any existing or potential problems.
WHY GET A SEWER SCOPE INSPECTION?
Many homeowners are not aware they are responsible for the main sewer drain from their home to the hookup to the city sewer. This distance can be up to 200 feet. This main sewer drain is vulnerable to many common problems. Repairs to main sewer drains can cost thousands of dollars.
